Relevant Experience: 

Staff Writer/Assistant Editor for Fordham University

(Oct. 2019-current)

Responsibilities include writing stories, profiles, and features for Fordham

Magazine and Fordham News; editing and writing undergraduate admission

materials including presentations, publications, brochures, online copy,

pamphlets, emails, and newsletters; working on marketing content for all of

the stages of the undergraduate admission cycle from prospective to admitted

students. 

Created editorial content for three new pieces that were added to help

prospective students learn more about Fordham: Five Facts about Fordham,

Understanding the Financial Aid Process, and a yield piece for international students.

 

City Hall Reporter at The Norwalk Hour, Hearst Connecticut Media

(Feb. 2019 to Oct. 2019)

Responsibilities included local news stories about city government, education, city services, planning and zoning, and community businesses.

Enterprise/Investigative Reporter at The Burlington County Times, Bucks

County Courier Times and The Intelligencer (Feb. 2018 to Feb. 2019)

Responsibilities included covering issues in Burlington County, NJ, as well as also  those that cross over to the two PA sister papers, such as the heroin and opioid epidemic, ongoing development and health care issues. Responsible for story ideas, investigations, public records requests, coordinating interviews, often times shooting photos and video, editing and producing video and multimedia elements for each story.

Reporter at The Burlington County Times (Apr. 2016 - Feb. 2018)

Worked as the primary education reporter, covering boards of education, superintendents, students and teachers in the classroom and any topics related to education. Responsibilities included writing stories for print and digital products, taking photos and videos, covering events and meetings, conducting interviews in person and on the phone, reviewing documents

and coming up with daily and enterprise story ideas.

Reporter at Southside Daily.com, The Tide 102.1 in Virginia Beach

(Sept. 2015-Apr. 2016)

Covered education, entertainment and general assignment topics for a daily online publication. Responsibilities include writing multiple articles a day, taking photos for the stories, attending school board and city meetings, conducting in-person and phone interviews, reviewing school and city documents, and developing sources. 

 

Board & Tape Operator at CBS Sports Radio & WFAN in New York City (May 2014-Sept. 2015)

Responsible for running the board during live shows, recording interviews & sound clips, cutting highlights and relevant sound bites using Burli & Adobe Audition, screening calls and providing the host with topics for the day. 

Sports Reporter, Host, Anchor and Producer at WFUV 90.7 in New York City (May 2013-June 2015)

Served as a beat reporter for the New York Jets (14-15), Rangers (14-15), Staten Island Yankees (13) & two Belmont Stakes Races; sideline reporter and studio host for Fordham football; a host of One on One, New York’s Longest Running Sports Call-In Show; update anchor during AM & PM drive time; and producer.
